SPL Cherbourg Port operates port facilities, since 1st January 2022, under a Delegated Public Services contract signed with Ports de Normandie. Cherbourg Port's mission is to operate, upkeep, maintain and develop the Ports granted to it, fishing and commerce.

Mooring service

Mooring service is available 7 days a week with a period of notice (16 pm the previous day, and 16pm on Friday for a call scheduled during the week end) except in case of an emergency.

Loading & unloading

Thanks to adapted equipment and employees whose professionalism is recognised, loading and unloading of all ships can be handled.

Maintenance of equipments

Cherbourg Port - SPEC SAS ensures the maintenance of handling equipment and tools .

Administration Department

The administration departments (operational management, human resources management, and general management) participate directly or indirectly in the organisation of calls.
